SAP Note 1443908 - ST03N - Weekly workload data can no longer be displayed

Version: 36
Validity: Valid Since 08.03.2010

Symptom
In transaction ST03 or ST03N, the system does not recalculate or display any weekly workload data.

Other terms
ST03, ST03N, week, 22.02.2010, Feb/22/2010, February 22, 2010, SAPWL_WORKLOAD_GET_SUMMARY_I_W

Reason and Prerequisites
This problem occurs as of February 22, 2010 (22.02.2010).
Particularly for the weekly workload data, the entries in the key field SRTFD in the table MONI are created so that the last four digits arereserved for the consecutive week number, starting with December 24, 1990 (24.12.1990).
The report for reorganizing the workload data (RSSTAT60/61/62) incorrectly calculates the date (STARTDATE) for the deletion of obsolete entries using the key transferred from the table MONI. Only the first three digits of the week are taken into account, which means that only the number '100' is used in the calculation as of week number '1000'.
As a result, the table MONI contains entries with November 23, 1992 (23.11.1992) as the start date. Due to the date, these entries are considered to be too old and are permanently deleted from the table MONI.

Solution
Implement the correction instructions or import the relevant Support Package. The system then calculates and displays the data correctly at least as of the current week.
If you require the missing weekly workload data, you can recalculate this data from the available daily workload data. To do this, create a report using the attached sample code rebuild_weeks_via_rstotl.txt. It is sufficient to execute this report once in your system to reconstruct the missing weekly workload data.
Note that Note 945279 is a prerequisite for this subsequent calculation. This means that you have already imported the relevant Support Package or that you have implemented the note using transaction SNOTE - you are not required to change over to the new collection mechanism described in the note.
