- Uninstalling the GRCPIERP
Before you install the GRCPIERP, keep in mind that you cannot uninstall ABAP add-ons. Further restrictions that concern the upgrade and maintenance of your SAP system and that occur as a result of installing an add-on are described in release strategy note <?????>.
- Required release
You require SAP R/3 Enterprise 47x200.
- Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update.
Ensure that you have installed the latest SPAM/SAINT update in your system. If a new version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the new SPAM/SAINT update.
- Obtain the following notes before you begin the installation:

- If these Support Package components are not yet installed, you can include them in the installation of GRCPIERP V1000_620. For more information, see Note 83458.
- Additional information about the installation:
CD material number add-on installation 51039481
- Obtain the GRCPIERP V1000_620 add-on
The installation CD for GRCPIERP V1000_620 is not automatically sent to all customers. Request the CD with the material number <xxxxxxxx> from your local subsidiary or download the CD from SAP Service Marketplace.
- Log on as user:
<sid>adm on UNIX <SID>OFR on IBM i (previously i5/OS or OS/400) <SID>adm on Microsoft Windows
- Switch to the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT> of your SAP system (usually /usr/sap/trans/EPS). After you execute the RSPFPAR report, the <DIR_EPS_ROOT> directory is also displayed under DIR_EPS_ROOT.
- Go to the higher-level directory of <DIR_EPS_ROOT>.
- Unpack the SAR archive <SAR_Archive> on the CD with the following
statement:
UNIX: SAPCAR -xvf /<CD_DIR>/GRCPIERP_V1000_620_INST/DATA/K-101AGINGRCPIERP.SAR IBM i (previously i5/OS or OS/400): SAPCAR '-xvf /QOPT/<VOLID>/GRCPIERP_V1000_620_INST/DATA/K-101AGINGRCPIERP.SAR Microsoft Windows: SAPCAR -xvf <CD_DRIVE>:\GRCPIERP_V1000_620_INST\DATA\K-101AGINGRCPIERP.SAR The CSR0120031469_0047315.PAT file should now be in the <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in directory.
