The most recent NWBC for Desktop versions and patches can be downloaded from the SAP Support Portal (service.sap.com/support). In the "Software Downloads" area, you will find the NWBC in "Support Packages and Patches", "A-Z Index", via keyword "NETWEAVER BUSINESS CLIENT"

• not the entire NEW (additional) feature set of NWBC 3.5/4.0 will work:

• pure client depended features will work - yes

• but most NEW features need server updates (SP) as well- those will currently work with backend SAP_BASIS 7.31
