• It is strongly recommended that you install GRCPIERP and GRCPINW in the same queue if you are using a ERP system. Please follow the instructionsin the note 1500169.

• Uninstalling the GRCPINW
  Before you install the GRCPINW, keep in mind that you cannot uninstall ABAP add-ons. Further restrictions that concern the upgrade and maintenance of your SAP system and that occur as a result of installing an add-on are described in release strategy note 1504132.

• Required release
  SAP Release 46C is a prerequisite.

• Import the latest SPAM/SAINT update.
  Ensure that you have installed the latest SPAM/SAINT update in your system. If a newer version is available on SAP Service Marketplace, import the new SPAM/SAINT update.

• Obtain the following notes before you begin the installation:
  Add-Ons: Conditions: 70228
  Release strategy note: 1504132
  Problems with transaction SAINT: 179116

• Prerequisites:
  
  Check that your system meets the following prerequisites:

  - Required Support Packages:

  - If you have not yet installed these component Support Packages, you can include them when you install the GRCPINW V1000_46C. For more information, see Note 83458.

3. Preparing the GRCPINW V1000_46C installation

• Making the GRCPINW V1000_46C add-on available
  The installation CD for GRCPINW V1000_46C is not automatically sent to all customers. Request the CD with material number 51039481 the from your local subsidiary or download the CD from SAP Service Marketplace.

• Log on as user:
  <sid>adm          on UNIX
  <SID>OFR          on IBM i (previously i5/OS or OS/400)
  <SID>adm          on Microsoft Windows

• Switch to the directory <DIR_EPS_ROOT> of your SAP system (usually /usr/sap/trans/EPS). After you execute the RSPFPAR report, the <DIR_EPS_ROOT> directory is also displayed under DIR_EPS_ROOT.

• Go to the higher-level directory of <DIR_EPS_ROOT>.

• Unpack the SAR archive <SAR_Archive> on the CD with the following statement:
  UNIX:
  SAPCAR -xvf /<CD_DIR>/GRCPINW_V1000_46C_INST/DATA/K-100AGINGRCPINW.SAR
  IBM i (previously i5/OS or OS/400):
  SAPCAR '-xvf /QOPT/<VOLID>/GRCPINW_V1000_46C_INST/DATA/K-100AGINGRCPINW.SAR'
  Microsoft Windows:
  SAPCAR -xvf <CD_DRIVE>:/GRCPINW_V1000_46C_INST/DATA/K-100AGINGRCPINW.SAR
  
  The CSR0120031469_0047311.PAT file should now be in the <DIR_EPS_ROOT>/in directory.

4. Executing the GRCPINW V1000_46C installation

• Log on as the following user:
  Log on to your SAP system in client 000 as a user with SAP_ALL authorization. Do NOT use the SAP* or DDIC users.

• Display the add-on installation package.
  Call transaction SAINT and choose 'Load'. After the list of uploaded packages is displayed, you can return to the initial screen of transaction SAINT by choosing either F3 or "Back".

• Starting the installation
  Call transaction SAINT, select the Add-On GRCPINW V1000_46C and then choose 'Continue'. If all of the necessary conditions for importing the add-on have been fulfilled, the system will now display the relevant queue. The queue consists of the installation package, and it may also contain Support Packages and Add-On Support Packages. To start the installation process, choose 'Continue'. For more information, call transaction SAINT and choose "Info" on the application toolbar.
  The system prompts you to enter a password. This password is provided below.

5. After you have installed the GRCPINW V1000_46C

• Importing languages after the upgrade

• If you intend to install additional languages, we recommend that you do this before you import further Support Packages. Refer to the "Language support" section.

• Importing Support Packages after the installation:

• No actions necessary

• You can import Support Packages of components that GRCPINW V1000_46C does not modify without CRTs.

• Installing GRCPIERP V1000_46C

• It is strongly recommended to install GRCPIERP V1000_46C after the instllation of GRCPINW V1000_46C.

• Generation errors

• The existing installation package of the add-on GRCPINW V1000_46C contains no generation errors

• Delivery Customizing:

• Delivery Customizing is imported into client 000 and may have to be copied to other clients. For more information, see Note 337623.

6. Language support

• In addition to German and English, the following languages are supported by GRCPINW V1000_46C: Arabic, Czech, Danish, Spanish, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Croation, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Slovak, Swedish, Turkish, Chinese trad., Chinese. If you want to install one of these languages, proceed as follows:
  The default language you want must already be installed before you install the add-on language files. The add-on language import must be carried out as described in the guide "Language Transport" (Release 46C). You will find the language packages of GRCPINW V1000_46C in the "LANGUAGE" directory on the <Installation/Language CD> with the material number 51039481.
