SAP Note 861753 - LAW: Replacing SDCC with SDCCN

Symptom
The SAP Solution Tool Plug-in ST-PI 2005_1_* was released on March 31, 2005. After you import this add-on, you are able to replace the Service Data Control Center (SDCC) with the new Service Data Manager (PlaceNameplacePlaceNameService PlaceNameData PlaceNameControl PlaceTypeCenter) SDCCN. However, SDCC is used by default to transfer consolidated audit results from the License Administration Workbench (LAW) to SAP.

You may also experience problems with the Remote Function Call (RFC) destinations SAPOSS or SAPNET_RFC. The following error message is displayed in the message log:
"You are not authorized to log on to the target system (error code 1)".

Reason and Prerequisites
After you have activated SDCCN, transaction SDCC is locked. For SDCCN, you must use additional authorizations or other users.


Solution
The relevant Support Package or the relevant set of correction instructions will provide LAW support for SDCCN.
